Two Kin, phone Microsoft advanced social

Microsoft presented this afternoon at a brief conference that lasted just 30 minutes, your new TWO Kin, a social terminal is more conventional, aesthetically speaking, than his younger brother, Kin ONE. Both terminals will be manufactured by Sharp.
The Kin TWO terminal is shown as a more sophisticated than the Kin ONE, incorporating improvements on it such as an increase in the internal memory capacity from 4 GB to 8 GB, a higher resolution camera, from 5 to 8 Mpx Mpx, widescreen, or a looser physical keyboard.
All this can be summarized in the following list of features Officers:
physical keyboard QWERTYPantalla: 3.4 inch 480 × 320 pixels, multi-domestic táctil.Memoria: 8 GB, in principle, extendable by cards flash.Cámara NO: 8 Mpx with Flash, video recording 720p HD resolution . Sound: Two speakers estéreo.Conexiones: WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS.Kin Two, priority in social networks
The phone is clearly and distinctly focused on an adolescent or juvenile social environment and most of its functions so determined. Not surprisingly, Microsoft conducted a survey called "Project Muse" which collected enough data on the use of mobile phones in the so-called "youth society", with the result that the vast majority of respondents preferred a terminal that has a very simple use and is always connected to social networks. All this is what the designers had in mind when making these phones.

The operating system has this device is not a Phone Windows 7, but is virtually based on this new Microsoft platform. It presents an interface / home screen called Kin Loop, which resembles a cross between the typical structure of a comic page and the aesthetics of your operating system "father" Windows Phone 7. This interface is fully taken by access to our contacts, social networks (like Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live), plus all the experience of Zune video and audio (although the games are not available.)
The Kin Spot, another important development of the device, is a green dot will always be present in this interface. He dragged the different content that we want to share with our contacts at any time.

One of the big stick that can be seen in its list of features, is the possible absence of flash card reader, excluding from its internal memory of 8 GB, which provided limited comfort to the end user, especially taking into account the ability to record HD content with it.
But do not panic, Microsoft thinks of everything, and this detail already had in mind. So when videos or capture images, files will be uploaded directly to the cloud, where we can download them back to the terminal, showing a chronological timeline of files, in addition to the system of "geotagging" in all images, showing snapshots taken around your location for you or more users. Also you can download the files from your PC by installing the software Kin Studio, eradicating this way both use flash cards and USB cables to rule on the process.
This device may assume that, in addition to being focused on a young audience, and despite being more advanced than his brother Kin ONE, a terminal will be affordable. His own aesthetic halfway between competitors like the Samsung Corby (by the way) and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 PRO Mini (for its size and keyboard) can place it as a rival to them, although their characteristics and potential audiences are somewhat different each other.
The Kin Two appear in May in the USA, and by autumn, Vodafone will bring it to several European countries, including Spain, of course. We can not talk yet estimated prices, since nobody has commented on this aspect.

IS01 Sharp, another Android Snapdragon assaulting Japan

Android is also putting his head in Japan, a market somewhat special platforms to succeed, but carriers and manufacturers are starting to bet on Google's operating system. Two examples, a few days ago HTC announced that it would Softbank Desire in its range, while DoCoMo bet on Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
On this occasion is the operator KDDI which presents the Sharp IS01, we might consider a Smartbook , halfway between a mobile phone and a netbook , with 3G connectivity and QWERTY keyboard.
The highlight of its specifications the 5-inch multi-touch screen with a resolution of 960 × 480 pixels, and the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz system and brain. Ideal for size and power as an excellent portable media player.

The device connectivity, WiFi b / g, EVDO Rev.A, IrDA and Bluetooth 2.1, plus a tuner 1-Seg TV. There have forgotten to include a pair of cameras, the main 5-megapixel and a front for video calls of 0.43 megapixels.
As for internal memory, have 4GB, expandable via microSD card. The battery gives a range of 310 minutes of talk time and up to 200 hours standby. Finally dimensions are 149 × 83 × 17.9 mm, weighing 227 grams.
The operating system runs on version 1.6 of Android, and will be available in May in Japan in a first version for developers, and ending the summer a final model for the market.

We ask the interest that would have a device of its kind in Europe, I sincerely seems to me an untapped market niche, which bPhone or gadgets like this Sharp can be good examples. I leave you with some videos of the operating device, as you can see has a trackball on the keyboard:
